Let's Get the Facts!

Diabetes In America Today

Did you know diabetes and its associated complications affect over 34 million Americans? An additional 88 million Americans are prediabetic, and in 2019, diabetes caused $476 billion in healthcare expenditures.

IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE!

Diabetes has afflicted people for thousands of years; this broadly misunderstood and draining disease causes many people to feel overwhelmed by the unrelenting symptoms.

Finally, with PIR (Physiologic Insulin Resensitization), we can introduce hope. With PIR treatment, many individuals with diabetes and other metabolic disorders have experienced relief and improvement from the following:

  • Chronic Pain
  • Fatigue
  • Weight Gain
  • Weight Loss
  • Blurred Vision
  • Headaches
  • Brain Fog
  • Sexual Performance
  • Wound Healing Ability
  • Dry Mouth and Dry Skin
  • Numbness and Tingling
  • Overeating
  • Frequent Urination
  • And much more!

What Is It & How Does It Work?

What Is Physiologic Insulin Rensensitization (PIR)®?

Physiologic Insulin Resensitization (PIR)® is an innovative, multi-patented, physician-directed system that provides an inventive way of providing customized patient care where insulin is administered as a hormone rather than a drug. IV access is connected to a precision infusion pump programmed to deliver insulin in a way that simulates normal glucose metabolism. Blood sugar can now more readily enter each cell and be converted into energy. By using insulin in this manner, we can bio-mimic normal glucose metabolism. This treatment process can show improvement in:

  • Support Insulin Sensitivity: By delivering insulin in a physiological manner, there's potential for improved insulin response
  • Facilitate Glucose Uptake: This method may promote greater glucose entry into cells, which is essential for energy production
  • Aid In Cellular Function: by potentially optimizing glucose utilization, it may support the body's ability to repair and regenerate tissues

By taking the sugar within the bloodstream and pushing it into the cells, the human body can begin to properly functionary allowing damaged tissues and organs to grow, repair, and regenerate.

How Does PIR Work?

  • Insulin as a Hormone vs. a Drug - The key is using insulin as a hormone rather than a drug.
  • Physiologic Administration –By mimicking physiologic secretion profiles, insulin receptor activity is upregulated, and insulin resistance is reduced. Improved sensitivity facilitates carbohydrate processing, improved metabolism, and greater ATP production. This allows damaged tissues and organs to repair and regenerate.
  • Insulin Sensitization – precision dosing of insulin enhances insulin sensitization by maintaining stable blood glucose levels and prevents hyperglycemia. This individualized approach allows for optimal insulin signaling, promoting efficient glucose uptake by cells.
  • Cellular Health – With increased cellular sensitivity of glucose intake, the next step is improved metabolic function. Improved uptake of glucose into the cells allows your cells to utilize the glucose, and form it into energy it desperately needed. As a result, metabolic function occurs more efficiently, thus improving energy utilization and overall cellular health -while minimizing the risk of complications associated with diabetes.

Are You Ready To Get Started?

Consultation

  • Consultations generally take 60 - 90 minutes to review your medical history, provide an explanation of the process, and answer any questions that you may have.

Qualifying Exam & Lab Work

  • During this stage we will conduct a qualifying examination and obtain any necessary lab work in the event that your labs are not up to date.

Treatment Plan Determination

  • If you are approved for your treatment, your clinician will create your individualized infusion plan based on your current health status and lab results.

Treatment Begins

  • Initial treatment can be as long as 3 hours and then decrease in duration and frequency over about a 6-week period. The typical maintenance phase is 2 hours every 4 to 6 weeks
